Job ID:  J0933  Job Title:  SSD Core Development Firmware Engineer  Job Description:  The software engineer will develop firmware for embedded applications for solid state flash drive applications. This candidate will also be involved in architecting the firmware structure, overseeing remote development teams, verifying implemented code as well as authoring new system routines. Excellent coding techniques must be employed for successful collaboration in a remote group environment. Good communications, both written and verbal, are a must. Some travel may be required as well as interface to customers. This candidate must have a working knowledge of storage protocols, including ATA, SATA, SCSI, Fibre Channel and SAS. Experience with caching protocols and NAND EEPROM (Flash) is preferred.  Qualifications:  Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or foreign equivalent) or related field plus 3-7 years experience in job offered.
