The primary job responsibilities
of the Industrial Engineer include but are not limited
to:
1) Conduct inventory analysis and material forecasting;
2) Identify and communicate inventory issues
effectively and promote solutions in the manufacturing
environment;
3) Interfacing with Accounting, Operations, Manufacturing,
Sales, Marketing-specifically Product planners
and managers, and Upper Management Team, in order
to have enough information to carry out the goal
of proper levels and flow of inventory at all
times;
4) Design of supply chain process improvement
solutions and management of the projects;
5) Ensure compliance with Inventory Control Requirements;
6) Confer with vendors, staff, and management
personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product
specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and
project status;
7) Establish systems and processes that will
address the management of inventory;
8) Manage material receiving activities at our
operating site, and owned material at vendor locations;
9) Review and analyze expenditure, financial,
and operations reports; and
10) Monitoring of company inventory levels and
fixed asset records.
