STEC Industrial Grade Secure Digital Memory Cards are small, removable and non-volatile flash memories with a high performance interface.

Available both in small and large capacity, STEC's Industrial Grade Secure Digital cards are specifically designed, manufactured and tested to withstand extreme environmental conditions and to improve system reliability and endurance. The Secure Digital format offer the best portability combined with high manufacturing flexibility, making it an ideal solution both for small volume and high volume projects.

Secure Digital cards provide high performance, thanks to the 1 and 4 bits configurable bus. Sustained read speed is up to 12MB/sec and sustained write speed is up to 9MB/sec.

HIGH RELIABILITY

SECUREDIGITAL (SD)

The usage of Single Level Cell flash combined with the built-in Error Correction, Bad Block Management and Wear Leveling algorithms extends the endurance of the memory to 2,000,0000 Write/Erase cycles per block for 128MB, 256MB and 512MB. For 1GB and 2GB SD card the endurance is 300,000 Write/Erase cycles per block since these capacities use the latest flash components to provide better performance, cost optimization and long term support.
