SMALL CARDS (SD and miniSD)

STEC Industrial Grade Secure Digital Memory Cards are small, removable and non-volatile flash memories with a high performance interface. STEC offers three different form factors to fit the customer needs for removability, portability and space optimization.

Available both in small and large capacity, STEC's Industrial Grade Secure Digital cards are specifically designed, manufactured and tested to withstand extreme environmental conditions and to improve system reliability and endurance.

The built-in Error Correction, Bad Block Management and Wear Leveling algorithms extend the endurance of the memory to 2,000,0000 Write/Erase cycles.

To assure that the products meet the rigorous threshold set by the OEM customers, each card is extensively tested at STEC's manufacturing facility. STEC provides rigorous bill of material control as an additional guarantee for the customer, ensuring long term product stability and availability. STEC also offers value-added services like customized form factors, testing, custom firmware, software imaging, customer-specific labeling and serialization.

Removability, portability, small form factor, high performance and high reliability make STEC Industrial Grade Secure Digital cards the products of choice for hand-held devices, data logger, medical devices, networking equipments, automotive applications.

Secure Digital cards provide high performance, thanks to the 1 and 4 bits configurable bus. Sustained read speed is up to 12MB/sec and sustained write speed is up to 9MB/sec.
